O'Grady Peyton International underwent an announced, on-site review of its compliance with national standards in February, addressing how staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of their staff, how they place their staff and how they monitor staff performance.

“Certification by The Joint Commission gives contracting organizations assurance that O'Grady Peyton International is committed to the ongoing comprehensive evaluation of key processes such as establishing criteria for providing appropriate and competent staff, and matching the needs of the contracting organizations with the appropriate placement of clinicians; verifying credentials; demonstrating and maintaining competency of their health care staff and providing orientation and education on NPSG (National Patient Safety Goals) and other important areas,” said Michele Sacco, M.S., executive director, Health Care Staffing Services Certification, The Joint Commission

“We are very proud that O'Grady Peyton International has been recognized for certification by the Joint Commission,” said Paul Foster, president of O'Grady Peyton International. “O'Grady Peyton International and AMN Healthcare have reputations as the industry leaders in setting high-quality standards, and this certification provides hospital clients and health care professionals across the nation with an even greater level of confidence that AMN Healthcare's processes across the company meet rigorous requirements that are important for quality patient care.”
